Sharapova exacts revenge on Molik

The winning run of Australian tennis player Alicia Molik has come to an end at the WTA event in Philadelphia.

Molik, who had won her past 11 matches, went down in the quarter-finals to reigning Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova 3-6, 6-1, 6-3.

Victory was sweet for sweet Maria, who had been beaten by Molik in the final of the Zurich Challenge tournament last month.
