Maria Sharapova second

Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova was voted into second place with 36 points.
She pipped Swedish athlete Carolina Kluft and golfer Annika Sorenstam to the spot, leaving fellow Russian tennis player and French Open champion Anastasia Myskina out in the cold with just two points.
