Maria edges out Davenport
Defending champion Maria Sharapova survived a second-set lapse to beat Lindsay Davenport 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 here Thursday, joining the American world No. 1 in the semi-finals of the WTA Tour Championships.

This truly an ingenious blog. It transcends the ordinary by concerning itself solely with one of the most divine looking women in the world. Contemporaneously, however, it contains the most superficial content, of which I could possibly have conceived.
I have never seen anything like it in my life. I am not sure if it is a revolutionary new art-form, or the sign of our culture's demise into a pure, unadulterated, minedless consumption-driven vegitative state.
The creators of this heavenly monstosity have my respect, i think, for what is surely indicative of either the ascendency of our culture to a new level of aesthetic sophistication or the decline into a condition of nothingness.
